Customer Reviews

Stephanie is a good friend of mine but not only that, she is one of the most inspirational musicians out there. She's a talented writer and her lyrics relate (atleast to me) to everyday issues. It seems that when I have a rough day, putting in one of her cd's is a good way to lift my spirits. And it's not just me, there are people all over who do the same. (Trust me we talk about it). I think with the trend in music right now, that real quality lyrics are missing and what Stephanie brings to the music world is not just good clean music, but lyrics that will stay with people and inspire them, and not just fade out with the ever passing trends. Great job Steph, you've made another wonderful cd!! We love you and miss you!

Finally Here!

This is a gorgeous CD, well worth your listening time and your money. From girl anthem to starving artist song to a breakup song, from indie pop-country to plain piano-cello pieces, this vaired album is guaranteed to please you. If you like that sort of thing. She puts a lot of feeling into her voice and playing, and the songs are inspiring and good for practically every mood. Just listen to the clips - if you must pick, listen to tracks 1, 2, 5, 9 and 10. She wrote all of these songs but one and plays on each as well. "The Long Stairs," written by Patty Griffin, is especially heartbreakingly beautiful and will make you cry.

A Breath Of Fresh Air, In A Stale World!

It seems that after the 90's all the music coming out is so redundant with one or two great songs and then fillers. Then there's this CD. I've heard her earlier stuff and things just keep getting better! Her most recent CD is phenominal! With lyrics that mirror life, she touches on the difficult and uplifting. I can relate to every song! Fantastic lyrics, haunting melodies, and an honest attitude makes this CD a breath of fresh air in a stale world!
