Band

I remember when I was a kid my Dad used to rock these various bands on his record player. He spoke of them like they were a fixture of his life - if you removed this music there would be a huge hole in his ability to find normal / joy / reconcile with his youth / humanity. This might sound comical to the haters - but I feel this very much for Senses Fail as a band. I'm now in my early 30s (ha ha) and I already have all these songs (except the new ones). I've been listening to these guys since I was in college over 10 years ago when their EP came out. Best show I've ever been to was in Seattle way back then when they played a small venue that only held a couple hundred kids and the crowd knew every word on "From the Depths Of Dreams". Anyways, I could have built the disc on a playlist at home since I have all their albums and just bought the new tracks for $5. But in support of these guys, I picked up the entire album.

By the way - the last 4 tracks are epic; I'm excited for the new stuff that they're working on. I've read a bunch of blogs / fan reaction over the years about some albums being worse than the previous or so much better or whatnot. For me every album / release gets better and better. More edge, better lyrics, same or better melodic builds. They've stayed true to who they are and just done it better and better. What excites me most about this release beyond the new tracks - is that they're still thriving all these years later; and with websites like Kickstarter and the removal of old record label red tape as they all collapse - Senses Fail could keep releasing music for years to come. I'd pay $100 for an album if it kept these guys going (like Radiohead did a few years ago).

Pick this up!

This is so amazing

I have all senses fails CDs, and songs. I love them so much. Even though I already had all of the songs on the greatest hits album I still bought the cd. The ep is truly awesome as well.

Amazing!!!

Senses Fail is and will always be my favorite band. Their music has helped me greatly to deal with my anxiety attacks that I started having after my house was burned down from a forest fire a few years ago. The 4 new songs are amazing, and I can't wait until they release their new album.

Comprising vocalist James "Buddy" Nielsen, guitarists Dave Miller and Garrett Zablocki, bassist Michael Glita (former percussionist for Tokyo Rose), and drummer Dan Trapp, New Jersey outfit Senses Fail developed a slick amalgam of post-hardcore chuggery and emo heartbreak that recalled fellow New Jersey-based group Saves the Day. Formed in 2002 in Bergen County, Senses Fail quickly issued a debut EP and began gigging regularly while maintaining a thriving Internet presence. Drive-Thru Records took...
