Anything Josh Homme touches is "solid gold". His influence weighs heavily on this record and it is worth the money. If you like Eagles of Death Metal and Queens of the Stone Age then more than likely this record will be a tasty treat. "Ballad of Pure Thought" breaks up the treble distortion that permeates most tracks. "Alpha Male" and "We Don't Live There Anymore" are worth checking out if you don't want the entire C.D.

This is some interesting stuff. Reminds me of a mixture of Burning Brides and Amen. But all in all this is pretty original. The recording is very cool
