The Ting Tings Are Great Live!

I'm a huge fan of the band and this live album does not disappoint. However, they could have included "Be The One" in their set which is my favorite song that they perform. I personally think they sound great live!

It's Not So Much Jules as It Is Katie...

Everything on this is good, but Katie's live performance needs some work. She seems to get a little lazy and she needs to work on her breathing! I still love them though!! Everything else is awesome and Jules is still pretty good!


wow. before i heard them live, i really liked the ting tings. they have great, fun, catchy songs that are easy to like. but live... not so much. good songs, horrible sound. her voice is genuinely bad. not nearly as good as it sounds when its been recorded in a studio. the only reason i gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the songs are halfway decent, even though her bad vocals ruin most of it.

Named after a Chinese friend whose name sounds like the Mandarin pronunciation of "bandstand," the Ting Tings -- a scrappy, dance-oriented duo consisting of singer/guitarist Katie White and drummer Jules De Martino -- formed in the Salford district of Manchester, England in 2006. Prior to forming the group, the pair worked together in 2001 when White was in the all-female punk-pop group TKO and De Martino wrote some songs for them.
