Haunting and Christmasy

Those words rarely go together (Nightmare Before Christmas being the exception, but it's even too perky), but it belongs here. Buy this for "The First Noel", stay for the ups and downs of the rest. Contemplate the meaning of life with a spiked egg nog, sitting on a log watching a slow quiet snowfall while listening...perfect.

A classic cd that Festivus would be proud of

I cant tell if their lead singer sings weird on purpose. Either way, the sound is so odd its fun. If anyone puts "Jingle Bells" on their christmas cds, folks will go whoa, what is that? Same with Good King Wencelas. This cd is worth it for the lead singer's renditions. A lady sings half of the songs and she is not bad by any means but she's not just very noteworthy.

Great for the zombie-themed christmas party (or when your family visits)

This album is awesome! I played this for my husband and at first he could not figure out it was the CTD, but he loved it and he's the one who dubbed this the zombie christmas album - especially after the line "bring me flesh and bring me wine" of Good King Wencelas... I think the dynamic of the back and forth between every other song being "normal" Xmas sound and then the next song a CTD-sounding variety makes the contrast even better! Jingle Bells is the best song on here for sure! So break this one out when your "monster-in-law" visits and it'll be sure to make the visit short and ensure her you're all going to Hell!
