Hail The Sound!

One of the best New Wave/Post Punk acts of the 80's. Too bad iTMS only has this album to spare. I hope they feature their whole catalog, specially "Sense Of Purpose," "In the Hothouse" and "The BBC Recordings" in the near future as these were classic recordings.

Still gets a thumbs up

When I listen to The Sound, it's almost as if the songs are on the brink, but don't quite make it. Very good

Good album, but like some of the reviewers point out not as great as Jeopardy, From The Lion's Mouth or Shock of Daylight/Heads and Hearts. Still there are some highlights like the opening track as well as Barria Alta and Kinetic. It's quite a tragedy that they never made it big. Adrian wherever you are, thanks for providing us with your talent both as a musician and lyricist.

But none of those...
