They never cease to amaze

A7X is the most talented band out there and the rev's memory will live on foREVer. It's a shame god called him up to get drum lessons from him so early.

This is a great EP...... I am so glad that they released another song. I am also glad they are continuing with a trial drummer. Thank you foREVer to Mike Portnoy once more for giving us Nightmare and your time on tour. 4AM is an awesome track. Get it...

A7x never ceases to invent new ways to entertain their fans. This deluxe single is a nice holiday surprise for all fans since they don't often put out small albums with unique and different tracks like this. Here's the breakdown:

1) Welcome to the Family (4/5) - for those who are complaining about this song being on here, this is the Welcome to the Family single with some bonuses. This is not technically an EP, its a Deluxe Version SINGLE. But this is a great song anyway so I'm not complaining.
2) 4:00 Am (5/5) - I see why they didn't include this in the Nightmare collection, but it doesn't deserve to be called a "b-side". It is a musically perfect song.
3) Seize the Day [Live] (5/5) - In my opinion, this version is far better than the City of Evil version ever was. With a voice like what was in the intro, Zacky needs to sing a whole song on their next album (or at least on a concert recording).

One of the more successful and accessible metalcore outfits to come out of the early 2000s, Avenged Sevenfold endured changes both stylistic and internal during their rise from teenage troublemakers to mainstream success story. The members of Avenged Sevenfold (or A7X) were still attending high school in Huntington Beach, California, when they formed their band in 1999. Nevertheless, it didn't take long for M. Shadows (vocals), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Synyster Gates (guitar), the Reverend (drums),...
