Best Album Yet

This album is a really clean, fun, and exciting ride. One of the nicest things about it is that it actually sounds like SINGING, which is rare for collegiate a cappella groups these days. The solos are strong on nearly every song, and the group is really creative in their song choice and arrangements. In general the group is more at home in the faster more energetic songs where their energy can really come through even in the recordings (Dancing Machine, and Home are both particularly good). Neither are sung badly, but I'll Cover You is an ambitious and interesting song choice that doesn't quite come off, and the Alma Mater is one of those joke tracks that you just delete from your playlist. Strongest track on the album is Mary Poppin's Birds, with understated vocal percussion allowing the arrangement and solo to come through. Absolutely fantastic vocals at the end. I'll be expecting to see a track off this album on BOCA 2011 if the guys decide to go for it!

Fresh Fifteeeeeen!!!

These guys are awesome!
Love Home, I'll Cover You, and By The Time, but they're all great!

listen. just do it.

Absolutely stunning vocal performances, gorgeous blend, great arrangements. I have a soft spot for Home and Awake, but the entire thing is spectacular. If you're trying to decide whether to get this, listen to Home. You'll be sold.
