Magnificent and uplifting

Feel-good prog rock that speaks to the adult soul, and fills it with a sense of life. Top three cuts are The Great Adventure, The Great Despair, and A Love That Never Dies.

A Great Follow-up

To anybody who has been enjoying The Similitude Of A Dream for the past two years, and there have been many, thousands of people waited with bated breath for the release of The Great Adventure.
This release does not disappoint! Judging by the YouTube videos that were released over the past month and a half, it was sounding like this album would be much heavier and darker than its predecessor. That it is, at times, but it’s got all of the wonderful trademark beautiful melodies and emotional moments that we’d expect from this band.
Buy it!

Lightning didn’t strike twice.

I gave it 3 stars because of the musicianship. Has it’s moments, but it’s not the beast “Similitude” is. IMO I’ve been a big Neal Morse/Mike Portnoy fan since Spock’s Beard and Dream Theater.
