Album Review

Unable to prove that they held the rights to their early recordings, Vancouver’s Subhumans experienced major difficulties trying to re-release a properly mastered version of their classic 1980 debut, Incorrect Thoughts. San Francisco label CD Presents claimed ownership and released the album on CD not long after the band broke up in the '80s, so rather than get into a legal battle, the reunited Subhumans set out to re-create their first album from scratch, song by song, for Same Thoughts Different Day. With the support of Alternative Tentacles, the production on the new version of the record is thick, in fashion with the sound of 2010, and having the original members on board is a nice touch.

Great Punk Rock

Almost every song on this album is great. A must have for fans of good punk. If you're looking for the english Subhumans that stole their name you probably won't like this because you are lame.

Real (Canadian) Subhumans

This is the Canadian band The Subhumans (Not the winy ones from the UK). Brian Gobble (later of D.O.A) on vocals. This album ,(really Incorrect Thoughts)is awesome and a lot of these songs have not been availiable for years and now newly recorded so they have better production and sound."Dead At Birth", "Death To The Sickoids","Firing Squad","Slave To My Dick" and in my opinion the best punk song ever recorded, "Behind My Smile".

not the real Subhumans

this isnt the original punk band

U.K. anarchist punk collective Subhumans formed in the Trowbridge area of Wiltshire in 1980, comprised of vocalist Dick, guitarist Bruce, bassist Phil, and drummer Trotsky. The band enjoyed success as one of the more literate and musically athletic British punk ensembles between 1980 and 1985, occupying the middle ground between the Clash's political songcraft and Crass' experimental warfare. Through five full-length records on their own BLUURG label (The Day the Country Died, From the Cradle to...
