"You're a Man Now, Boy (Deluxe)" by Raleigh Ritchie on iTunes

18 Songs

EDITORS’ NOTES

Almost annoyingly talented (Game of Thrones fans: you’re listening to Greyworm’s debut album), Raleigh Ritchie has a suitably fluid approach to his music. You’re a Man Now, Boy is an impassioned expedition through the UK urban scene, showcasing the Briton's swashbuckling MC abilities and a magnetic, soulful croon. “Werld is Mine”’s crisp drums and inflamed vocals sets forth Ritchie's stirring blueprint, “Stronger Than Ever” was built to soundtrack sport montages, while “Cowards” is a glitchy, charming modern love story.

You're an Album Now Too

LumberYeti,

Been following the development of this album through the released EPs, singles, and music videos that were put out ahead of it over the last couple years. The finished product is an intelligent, modern sound combining clever lyricism and synth to develop a story in every song. Songs vary in theme, mood, and pace to make one of my most anticipated albums of early year immensly satisfying.

He's the truth

Uppertamber,

Omg , I love this album so much

About Raleigh Ritchie

Raleigh Ritchie is the stage name of Bristol-born Adulthood and Game of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson. His electronic-influenced R&B pop first gained recognition on the Adulthood soundtrack in 2008, where he recorded "I Need Love" with British rapper Plan B. Soon after, he signed to Columbia Records and balanced his acting career with his blossoming musical repertoire. Incorporating such diverse influences such as Erykah Badu, David Bowie, and Stevie Wonder, Ritchie's first EP, The Middle Child, was released free to fans as a digital download in 2013. Ritchie's notable performances in his role of Grey Worm in the hit TV series Game of Thrones enlarged his ever-growing audience, and his 2014 video for single "Stronger Than Ever" -- taken from his second EP Black and Blue -- got over a million views on YouTube. ~ Scott Kerr
