This is not inane chatter, this is an actual review...

Forget the hype over the tie with Green Day. Pinhead Gunpowder is it's own band that owes nothing to the existence of Green Day. Four friends from the East Bay playing some very heartffelt honest punk rock that is so catchy you wont be able to stop listening to it. Westside Highwy and Anniversary Song rock with the best of the PG spirit, while On the Ave is a super raw lo-fi accoustic tune with male/female vocals served up with a genuine feeling of honesty. This is easily one of the top two Pinhead Gunpowder releases to-date.

The original roots of Billie Joe

This album proves Armstrong didn't lose his punk roots, the distorted guitars and drums prove that. Great band.

It would be easy to label Pinhead Gunpowder as a supergroup, considering that the lineup features four players from other well-known bands.
