Session Master and Great Songwriter!

Tim is a monster player with deep finesse and musical sensibility. If you enjoy melodic rock you will love this record.

There is only one Tim Pierce

I have watched Tims career since before Rick Springfield. He is one of the unsung super gems of the guitar, preferring to work in the studio than grind it out on the road. Relentlessly melodic, creative, and technically inspired, there is no one that plays the guitar like Tim. A must have for any guitar lover. You will find his playing on hundreds of Gold Records that you didn't even imagine!

Must-have for guitarists

As a guitarist, I listen to every player I can find, and I have to say that Tim Pierce is probably the best I've ever heard. I have been looking for his recordings ever since hearing him play the fadeout burn on Toy Matinee's "The Ballad of Jenny Ledge" (his guitar work on the recently-released "Toy Matinee live" CD, available at the Kevin Gilbert website, is outstanding as well). This CD is his only solo release (from 1995) but it's a masterpiece. It has virtuoso playing...clean, precise, and downright tasty. But it also shows Pierce's attention to tone, sound, and melody. It's rare to find such a good player who will look play WITH the music, rather than over or at it. The casual listener might dismiss this as an easy-listening or maybe even a "new-age" type of instrumental collection, but don't be fooled. This is a really great piece of work. If you're a guitarist, you are guaranteed to wet your pants.
