Lovely to listen to

Christmas time is so much nicer for me ever since I got this CD! LeAnn does a wonderful job with "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," but after that first song she sings a sad Christmas song called " A Different Kind of Christmas," which is about post 9/11 and how things were and will often be a "different kind of Christmas" for a lot of people. LeAnn wrote that song and it's not a bad song or anything, but I usually skip this song so I won't get depressed. "White Christmas" is quite nice and LeAnn's vocals are pretty on this track. She nicely belts out "All I Want for Christmas is You," and it's one of my favorites from this album. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "What a Wonderful World," and "The Christmas Song" are also very nice. LeAnn wrote 3 songs for this album, and the 2nd song that she wrote that you hear is called "Just Love Me," which she co-wrote with her husband. It's very southern country styled that maked you wanna say "forrest gump." Some people find it too much country, but at times it can be okay. But if you happen to not like that song, she definetely recovers with her final penned song, "I Miss You Like Christmas." It almost sounds like a tradition Christmas song, very classy, like old time Christmas carol music, and it's one of my favorites. The album finishes with "O Holy Night," and it's pretty good, but I still have this weird idea that it could've been better. Overall, it's a nice Christmas album to have during the holidays.

In 1996, LeAnn Rimes burst out of nowhere with her debut single "Blue," which immediately captured the attention of country fans across America. It wasn't just the fact that her rich, powerful vocals were remarkably similar to Patsy Cline's -- it was the fact that Rimes was only 13 years old. Like Tanya Tucker and Brenda Lee before her, she had a hit with her debut single and was barely a teenager at the time. It was quite an auspicious way to begin a career. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, but raised...
