Not bad for a song that was technically never a hit

First of all, when this came out in 1979 it was on the Nemporer label, NOT Epic. Secondly, it got virtually NO radio airplay when it was first released because most radio programming executives are deaf and wouldn't know a hit song if it hit them in the face. It didn't become popular until a combination of its MTV video clip, massive sports arena play, and probably a commercial brought it to the attention of the public. It paved the way for their first "real" hit, "Talking In Your Sleep" in 1981 or 1982. Identical story for "I Melt With You" by Modern English (Sire) when it was first released in 1981.
