Amazing.

I was never a Jordan Pruitt fan. True, I liked her song Outside Looking In on the Disney Channel. But I never really paid attention to this 15-year-old girl until she came out with this album. Jordan's voice is very unique. Her croons are soft and she has natural talent, so if you're a Disney fan, don't even think twice about purchasing this entire album. 1. No Ordinary Girl (5/5) -- Fun pop. Makes you want to sing along with this track, nice vocals. Peppy. 2. Miss Popularity (5/5) -- Love this track! Something every middle school girl can relate to. Sing along, love Jordan's voice, not as croaky on this one. If you were at one of the High School Musical concerts, she sang it. 3. Over It (4/4) -- Pretty good. Repetitive, but a good one overall. 4. Teenager (5/5) -- Could listen to this over and over and over. Crazy, very fun. All girls know what this is like. Love the cell phone part. So good. 5. Outside Looking In (5/5) -- This one that you should know. I'm sure you can relate. Beautiful. Soft, yet upbeat as well. Extra star for this single track. 6. We Are Family (5/5) -- Yup, it's a remake, but a good remake. Dance along, show off Jordan's voice. Great one. 7. Waiting For You (3/5) -- Hey, it's pretty good. Filler track. Don't know if I like Jordan's voice in it. 8. Jump to the Rhythm (4/5) -- I like this one. Jump In Disney Channel... More jazz. But good. 9. My Reality (5/5) -- Another great track. It's more soft, but still fun and great. 10. Who Likes Who (4/5) -- Typical middle school. Easy, basic lyrics. Cute. 11. Later (5/5) -- Great track. Nobody likes a player. 12. When I Pretend (4/5) -- Slow. Listen before you go to bed. Sweet, it's pretty good. If I had to choose 3 tracks to buy for sure, I'd go with Outside Looking In, Teenager, and Miss Popularity. Hope it helps! =D

Breath of Fresh Air

It's nice to see that Jordan Pruitt has come out with a CD. She has a very unique voice and style of her own. In my opinion her music is a mix of standard pop and soothing melody. I can say that she hasn't delved into the whole stereotypical, (example- going from disney to) overcompensating with somewhat of an inappropriate image and music style-- such as what Ashley Tisdale is doing with her music. Jordan Pruitt is at a happy medium of a style that both the younger children that watched her on disney and are listening to her now can appreciate (as well as their parents) and also the older teens that just want to hear good music. I give this CD 4 stars.

:-)

This is a great album!! Jordan Pruitt really captures the trouble that we all have into great songs. It's is really hard to pick a few songs for those of you who don't want to buy the whole album. (by the way it is cheaper to buy the whole album if you want all of her songs) I reccomend Outside looking in and My reality! ENJOY!!!
