Amid some tailor-made power ballads lurks some decent hard rock.

Bad English

Steve Perry was in a self imposed exile but Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain were still itching to make music. The result was one of the 80's more successful Supergroups, Bad English. This self titled debut had a few hit singles including the catchy power ballad, When I See You Smile. John Waite is in great form throughout the album.

Rock Classic

Bad English self-titled debut was combined by Journey members Neal Schon,Jonathon Cain and ex-Babys and well known solo artist John Waite. Many tracks on this album stand out like Price of Love,Possesion,Forget Me Not and of course the hit song When I See You Smile.John Waite's vocals shine throughout and with the talents of Schon and Cain makes this a complete rock album both melodic and everlasting.

Classic late 80's rock

Many dismissed Bad English as just another pop-metal hair band, but with several of Journey's key members and the voice of John Waite--what's not to love? "When I See You Smile" and "Possession" are the songs that became hits, but "Ghost In Your Heart", "Don't Walk Away" and "Rock'n Horse" are equally as impressive. Fans of John Waite, Journey, and good ol' rock 'n roll should add this jewel to their collection.

Drummer Deen Castronovo, who would later join Journey in the late '90s, completed the lineup. One of the last supergroups of the decade, Bad English made power ballads like there was no tomorrow -- and they did it better than most, due in part to Waite's strong vocals and Schon's...
