Here is the original "When Will I See You Again" on the original 1974 album! Only mild disappointment that 1974's "TSOP" [which featured the Three Degrees] wasn't added as a bonus track. Of course, the old Roulette-label hits [like 'Maybe' from 1970] won't be on this Philadelphia International release. For that, try Rhino's "Soul Hits of the 70's Volume 2" instead of bad-mouthing this album.

70's girl group classic

A high sprirted collection of songs sung by singers who know and understand harmony, melody and just enough drama/wit. Fun and so tight. Why don't folks get that a review is a statement of what is presented not what isn't and never was. Clueless!


I'm a product of that great time: the 70's disco era. This album is a true classic. If you had the original vinyl in which I had than you would know what I'm taking about..surprise!!

Philly soul vocal group the Three Degrees started in 1963 in Philadelphia, PA. They were discovered by producer and songwriter Richard Barrett. Barrett was a key force for 1950s groups the Chantels, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, and his own group the Valentines. The original lineup was Fayette Pickney, Shirley Porter, and Linda Turner. Barrett recorded this lineup on their first single, "Gee Baby (I'm Sorry)."
