It doesn't take much to get your songs on itunes

Apparently. This is just crap. Get yourself a $4 (excuse me $3.96) guitar and some tablature and sing and you'll definitely get to hear better versions of these amazing songs. Plus, you'll feel moved. To those reviewers who claim that this so "*so* NMH in spirit, I strongly disagree. NMH produced extraordinarly passionate and strange music that was and still is remarkably unique. I think a very "Milk Hotelish thing to do" would be to create *original* musical works of sweeping beauty. Not produce covers that "are so bad, they're good"?? I don't get that logic, and you shouldn't get these songs.

Not as bad as everyone said it was.

Well I guess maybe I had lowered expectations, but I thought the songs provided a different if not strange variation on songs by Jeff Mangum/ Neutral Milk Hotel. I wonder if most people have sanctified Neutral Milk Hotel so much that they forget NMH is guilty of exactly what Viking Moses is accused of doing. Of course he's rarely on beat or in tune but that's what made these songs beautiful in the first place. The back drop of slide guitars in Holland, 1945 is absolutely beautiful and the distorted but simple guitars in Where You'll Find Me Now is genius. This whole thing is a beautiful tribute to Jeff Mangum and a style of song writing he pioneered. I'm giving it 5 stars to off set all you negative Nancy's:)

for the balls

i was annoyed by neutral milk the first time i heard, it slowly trickled in and now, i've deified the man jeff mangum. though i don't believe in gods. this is good music, a good cover concept and maybe, a wanting controversy but hey, they nailed the feel on, "where you'll find me now." can't really kick someone with intuition. it's about playing the music that spills out, not the sounds you inject.
