Not many DJ's make ACTUAL heavy-hitting music that is fun just to listen to. This guy does, and this EP is dark and heavy, which is quite nice. I would advise taking a listen to his other stuff (some is under Freeland, no "Adam"), which is very different at times but still quite good. Especially check out his "Cope" LP (under "Freeland"). Brody Dalle does a song with him too :3

Adam Freeland is the DJ, label-head, and producer most often hailed for the fusion of breakbeat and techno (sometimes branded nu-skool breaks) on righteous mix albums like 1996's Coastal Breaks and 2000's Tectonics. Based in Brighton, Freeland began DJing in 1991, originally mixing deep house and later drum'n'bass. After becoming an in-demand DJ around Britain and to a lesser degree Europe for his mixing skills and innovative sound, Freeland released his first mix album, Coastal Breaks, in 1996....
