Album only ridiculous

There is an amazing Lou Reed song on the album. I think they believe they will make more money if they force the entire album on you. WRONG! I just won't buy any of it. Like im going to listen to Phil Collins! LOL

pretty good

This grows on you which makes some sense being there are so many big names here. Roberta Flack, Robert Plant, John Hiatt! I love Lou Reeds song, My Love is Chemical. It's a funky song with a good a strong base sound. I'm not normally huge Lou Reed person but this is catchy. I am also surprised to say I like Chaka Khan song too. Anyway, not bad. I bought it years ago and it's still in semi regular rotation.

I've been hunting for this one

Loved the movie in the 80's and listened to the soundtrack (on tape) until it warped. Great songs from the 80's from a wide range of artists. Chaka Kahn, Roberta Flack, and Lou Reed are my favorites on this album. You may have a better appreciation for the music if you've seen the movie. I think I saw this movie in the theater about 15 times. "Tap Dance" highlights Gregory Hines' awesome tapping skills, but it's better to see it in the movie than to hear it on audio only.
