13 Songs, 53 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Two decades and several hairstyles into their career, Bon Jovi were as defiant as ever on this 2005 LP. The title track is a guns-blazing declaration of freedom, its bravura made all the more convincing by Richie Sambora's distorted guitar licks, while "Last Man Standing" challenges the cutthroat nature of the music industry with sharp, deadly riffs. But there’s a sweetness to the album, too, exemplified on the country-tinged "Who Says You Can't Go Home," which remains one of Bon Jovi’s most tender, nostalgic tunes.

This Album...

…May just be one of the best albums out there. Bon Jovi strove for absolute perfection and completely achieved it in Have A Nice Day. One can easily hear the care and precision that the band put into every song.

The guitars are not overpowering and are definitely not underdone. The guitars definitely add some serious life to every minute.
The bass is perfectly harmonious with the guitars and vocals and adds that deep resounding sound that we have come to enjoy from Bon Jovi.
The drums are powerful and moving and they drive the songs forward in a spectacular way.
Finally, the vocals are superb. Jon Bon Jovi will never lose that voice of his and it's what really pulls this band together.

I like the fact that a band sticks to their roots, but still modernizes it like this album did. The classic Bon Jovi is still here, but a newer layer has been added that rockets the album into the realm of the absolute greats.

WONDERFUL

I love every track, and it goes to show that Bon Jovi is the real deal. Keeping it true to their original works yet they're able to keep it fresh and new.
LOVE IT!!
