I Wanna Party With Terp

While I have to deduct a point for an album name I never want to hear my mom read, I also have to give the album 4 out of 5 thick-lensed glasses. I'll tell you why, and you'll believe me, if my name ain't Lawrence J. Grivels. One reason. The song called "Who Wants to Party with Terp?" It opens with the most glorious sus chords. They're like an angle riding a rainbow made from funk legends. Next, Mr. Trew asks me a question. What better way to get me engaged (other than putting a ring on my finger, *buh dum tsshhh*)? By this point my feet are usually a stompin' and I begin to get winded. The stanky baseline gets my hips swayin' like a hammock on a day in May in Kansas City, Kansas. After that, I'm remind of a very painful time in my life where, I too, was a slave to erotic photo hunt. To this day I'm unable to be with my girlfriend in a room with a mirror. I keep trying to figure out what's different between her and the reflected image before time runs out. This is painful stuff for me... Once I've recovered from my bar game-induced shame spiral I'm ready to get crunk (a.k.a. how I roll, a.k.a. how I party, a.k.a. how I do it) and the song builds me up more than main lining a Red Bull. You best be buying this album (or at least this song) on iTizunes.

It's WAY better than fast food, it's Terp 2 It!

Everything about this album is awesome. The beats are fancy. The lyrics are funny and slick. Terp's first album was kickass, but this album blows that one out of the water. Producer Mikey Felton (MC DJ) has outdone himself on the production side. This is a must for nerdcore and non-nerdcore hip-hop fans. My fave tracks: - "O" - A constant assault of freshness. Check out the music video for it on - "LATX" - Yummy! - "Backpack" - Silly and catchy and fun. - "This is Not a Mustache" - Good for one whole family!
