they're back!

h.p. baxxter, rick j. jordan, and jay frog are back with "who's got the last laugh now?", their latest, explosive full length lp. this album breaks new ground, along with touching scooter's roots. quite an awesome mix. it's started off with the intro, then explodes into the single "hello! (good to be back)". and from there on: all out craziness. they use the hpv (high-pitch voice) effect a lot on this cd, like in "the stadium techno experience", which, in my opinion, sounds great. in songs like "privileged to witness", "see me, feel me", and "everlasting love", it adds energy. scooter likes to sample from other groups, and there are lots of cover tracks: "hello! (good to be back)" uses samples from gary glitter's song; "rock bottom" from jordan & baker's "explode"; "the leading horse" beat from 50 cent's "in da club"; "take me baby" by jimi tenor; "apache" is an awesome (yet short) cover of the incredible bongo band's track; "everlasting love" chorus from robert knight; and "seven bridges", originally titled "sieben bruecken" by peter maffay. this album is amazing, blending and breaking the boundaries of music. scooter continues to amaze.

Good To Be Back

SCOOTER, the never ageing band has once again come into the charts with a breaking ground new album, with tracks like Rock Bottom and Seven Bridges it really shows the true strenghts of the dance pop spirit in the 3 guys!!!! SCOOTER!!!! POSSE 4ever! :)

My WGTLLN? Review

Personally, I think this is Scooter's best album yet. They've brought back the "squeaky voice." This album has the best balance between fast beat songs, and ones that are a bit slower. My personal favorite song on the WGTLLN? album, would be Seven Bridges. If you haven't already purchased this album, I HIGHLY suggest it. Especially if you're as big a fan as Scooter (or any techno for that matter), you'll love this one.
