A Slice Of Heaven

Many moons ago, when I was still finding out about music, I bought this CD for 'Wicked Game', then wondered who the next chump would I regift the album to. The album, while not one of the all time greats, is a very good album if you need something to unwind. Chris Isaak hits all the notes. You could buy albums a whole lot worse than this one, but few better.

VINTAGE CHRIS ISAAK

This album is incredible for a number of reasons, but probably most appropriate is its diversity. So many different sounds, moods, and old "fire in your pants" rock and roll such as Diddley Daddy. This album pretty much made Chris Isaak famous. Beyond the well known Wicked Game, other cuts pull you in and hold you. Blue Spanish Sky can set the listener in a Mexican cantina looking up at the heavens. Isaak's music seems to always tug at the heart strings. It can make one wonder how turbulent his love life was....and is. For pure listening pleasure, this album catches the listener from cut one and releases you at the end...wanting more.

Wicked

Found this song while in West Germany 1989. Love it.
