A man worth your ten dollars

Even if every song on this album was terrible, it would be worth your ten dollars. Steve Moakler is a great man and an inspiring Christian and it is so special to be able to support him, even in a mere ten dollar investment. That being said, this album is not terrible, it's great. It feels real and it is more than refreshing to listen to. Steve deserves to make a killing for being himself. He's worth every penny.

What a great artist.

Steve makes songs that make me happy. I’m pretty sure that’s one of the main reasons people listen to music, which is why his is so true, and very distinct. As his new album states, Steve is “Wide Open."
On a side note, each of Steve’s albums holds a memory for me. His past album-(Watching Time Run) memory for me is probably the most fun I’ve had listening to an entire album fully. Long hours of driving, singing melodies and memorizing lyrics as I drove.... and I have not even listened to all of Wide Open, and I can’t wait to see what memory I will associate it with eventually.
Thanks for your great acoustic tunes Steve Moakler, you’ve helped me have some very happy moments, and been an inspiration. Buy this artists music, its worth a hefty chunk of change (It’s not great…stupid 5 stars…It’s fantastic).

About Steve Moakler

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native Steve Moakler, a thoughtful, country-tinged songwriter and singer, moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2006, honing his craft in a town where the best of the best go to do the same thing. Thoughtful and prolific, Moakler, after a series of odd jobs and countless local performances, placed songs with several artists, including Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Ben Rector, Matt Wertz, and Kellie Pickler, and released three independent albums, including 2011's Watching Time Run, which Moakler funded through a Kickstarter campaign. He took part in the "Three Amigos" tour with two other up-and-coming Nashville-based songwriters and singers, Ben Rector and Andrew Ripp, and placed performances of his songs in the film October Baby and with various television shows for MTV, Fox, and ABC. His third studio LP, Wide Open, peaked at the number four slot on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, and in 2015 he released Steve Moakler: The Mix Tape, and co-wrote Dierks Bentley's hit single "Riser." Steve Moakler: The EP, which featured the single "Steel Town," arrived the following year. ~ Steve Leggett
