summer pop masterpiece

The anomalous pop of Jordan Blum is an ecstatic revelation-an exalting, singular, upbeat half-hour of music where instruments weave in and out of falsetto vocals that act as golden anchors. This is the most complete work to date for Dykeritz, the latest in a line of fourteen albums he has created since the age of 13. Bordering on jubilant and teetering on bizarre, the album is an aurally sprawling experimental pop masterpiece with moments akin to the instrumentation of the Zombies, the vocals of the Bee Gees, and the arrangements of Animal Collective. The ultimate summer BBQ, swimming in the lake, camping out with your friends, dancing under the stars celebration of life that music can be, but rarely is.

It is the first of the next generation.
