I'm sold... this is brilliance...

I'm a fifty year old man who outside likes rock, funk, soul, jazz, classical, etc. Outside of The Sugar Hill Gang , Rapper's Delight, and the occasional Will Smith tune, I had written off all forms of Rap and Hip Hop and of course, I've never liked Country music. These guys have changed my tune on Hip Hop. I'm sold and so far I haven't heard a song by them that I haven't liked. They, and those that they collaborate with are brilliant. Keep making the music, boys. I love the musicality of it. Also, please venture outside of Hip Hop and experiment with making other genres of music, too. I hear a versatility in you that you can handle many different styles of music.

So dope

This album is only the beginning for CSWS.

Hits every sweet spot for me

Samples and grooves that sound organic -- so much music sounds too synthetic to me, like the actual sound waves are too rigid and square. These tracks sound like they're made from (and by) things that breath and bleed.

Fresh rhymes -- I've never heard verses like these, and you haven't either!

Encyclopedic influence -- James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Average White Band, Parliament/Funkadelic, Stevie Wonder, GAP Band, Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, The Commodores, James Taylor, A Tribe Called Quest (Idon't eat no ham and eggs!), Beastie Boys, it's all in there and not just via reference. These guys have done their homework.

(On a more personal, it's not misogynistic, which you may not care about. FWIW)
