No the way to experience Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd is a great band, and each song on this album is good. However, Pink Floyd’s music was never meant to be experienced on the level of the song itself. In my humble opinion, the best way to enjoy Pink Floyd is in each individual album. An album is able to build an idea, concept or story, and develop it with each song. "Comfortably Numb" is great, but it looses its effect when the taken out of context of the story of “The Wall”. Also this album has some glaring omissions that will leave some fans baffled (No, “Echoes”?”) So, i give this album a 3 of 5 stars; its enjoyable music, some of the band’s best material, but each song feels isolated and out of context.

Of these concept albums, Dark Side of the Moon resonated strongest,...
