"Greatest Rock Organist"

What a great album and great music, and some brilliant musicians playing with Jon, and that hammond sound, fantastic. When the Artwoods used to play Eel Pie Island in Twickenham, I wasn't old enough then to get in but used to listen outside and loved their music and especially Jon's Hammond sounds and his time with Deep Purple continued to show just how great a musician he was, Machine Head - Made in Japan two of my all time favorite albums, Smoke on the Water, Lazy, and so many other great tunes. I am sure that most will agree that he was the greatest rock organist of his time. I was saddened to hear the news that Jon had died.
