iTunes Review

Bowie's ‘70s work established him as the ultimate thinking-person's rock star, but 1983's Let's Dance made him a full-blown pop star. Partnering with producer Nile Rodgers of Chic, Bowie shows off his Top 40 chops on the Motown-influenced "Modern Love" and the hard-grooving title track (featuring a guitar solo from a fledgling Stevie Ray Vaughan). The R&B-flecked sheen that Rodgers brings to tracks like the sumptuous and tender "China Girl" makes the whole album sparkle.

My favorite album! May he RIP!

This album was a classic! He and Nile Rodgers produced a masterpiece! Modern Love, China Girl, Lets Dance, those songs; killer! We're losing too many icons and he was definitely up there with them. 4 decades? That's an icon. He would surely be missed. May he R.I.P.

Cat People from Let’s Dance

That’s none other than Stevie Ray Vaughan smoking that guitar on this cut. That alone is worth the price of the album. All the songs here are really good, I just love SRV. Bowie should have, too.
