EDITORS’ NOTES

On their declaratory title track, Hillsong UNITED cry, “I see the world in light/Bursting in living color”—setting the tone for the rest of this joyously kaleidoscopic worship album. Wonder winds its way through bubbling indie-pop mediations on heaven’s mysteries in “Shadow Step” and poetic expressions of creation drenched in reverb and dreamy rock guitars on "So Will I (100 Billion X),” while “Shape of Your Heart” is an ode to God’s love decked out with flickering piano and R&B-kissed Auto-Tune.

Refreshing.

Every time Hillsong makes new music it just absolutely refreshes my relationship with God! Absolutely amazing worship!

Doesn't feel like worship music

I'm sorry but I don't feel like I can actually worship anymore with United. Almost all the songs sound the same and the lyrics have too many I's instead of proclaiming the name of Jesus! It's too self centered. I LOVE United old school with songs like "One Way" and "from the inside out." I hope they can get back to those kinds of workshop songs.
