Possibly one of his best yet!

I've listened to all of Izzard's available material countless times (to the point where I can recite them!), and he is just as energetic and on point in this album than any other. Glorious and Definite Article used to be my favorites to listen to, but I like this one even more. His bits on Houseflies and Dentistry make me laugh out loud every time I hear them, but there are plenty of priceless pieces here.

I feel the only negative point about this album is that the full comedic effect of much of the material is lost because of the lack of the body language/physicality that compliments it on stage. This is very obvious in the beginning, and in the last bit where he rides a horse, but overall this is a must-buy if you enjoy Eddie Izzard at all.

Terrible. Get his other stuff

I love Eddie Izzard and I own all his other albums happily, but this one is a waste o money. It's disjointed, doesn't flow and is mostly recycled material.

Buy "Dressed to Kill" and the rest instead! You'll be way happier than with this album...

Not his best

The begining was ADD, which is ok, but this was more than ussual. He didn't really seam to have a great bits. Just jumped around from subject to subject. It's almost like he was thinking he can get on stage and do it all off the cuff. Funny, but not his best, nor is it a good album if you have never heard of or listen to Eddie Izzard.

Genre: Comedy

Years Active: '90s, '00s

The London Sunday Times has called him "the greatest British standup comedian of his generation", and the entity of Eddie Izzard is worthy of such praise. This comedian, actor, and transvestite has bewitched the world of comedy with a kitschy, campy, and cunning mix while adding a bit of British flair to American humor, and it's brilliant. Born in 1962 to an accountant father and a mother who was a nurse, Izzard spent his early childhood in Yemen. Both of his parents worked at the British Petroleum...
