a tribute

Working Man The rock music press has never been kind to the Canadian trio, Rush. Having been described as everything from blatantly derivative to pompously pretentious, Rush has only gotten respect and admiration from the one group of people that really mattered, the fans. True devotion on the part of loyal followers has allowed Rush to continue to put out a huge body of recorded work that has spanned almost twenty five years. Each album brings a large scale tour and the band's followers turn out to see a great musical and visual presentation. In the process, a great many musical "offspring" have been spawned by Rush. So many of today's finest players have been influenced by Lifeson, Lee and Peart that the time has finally come to put forth an homage to these fine musicians. "Working Man", another in the line of high quality tribute albums from Magna Carta, has been recorded with some of the finest players in the world of hard rock. Most of these musicians will claim Rush as a primary influence on their musical styles and many of the album's participants have supported Rush on tour. World class musicians honoring a band in a class by itself. Mixed By Terry Brown *Mixed By Robert Berry Who Are the Performers? 1. AHHHH-SUM

this is an awsome album that any serious rush fan should own, it has some awesome new takes on old Rush songs played by Rush fans

It is not Rush and nor should it be

This is a tribute to Rush by artists that have been inspired in some way by the band. I will say that not all the tracks are great, but if you are a fan of music and a fan of Rush...give it a chance...it will never take the place of the originals but it is cool to hear people play tribute to the band I love. I really love the Tracks Mission, and La Villa Strangiato
