Superb- exquisitely beautiful, rewards repeat listening.

This is the first album of a two-part series of concept records, the next being 2014's "Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son". Both are fantastic records; Maraqopa begins the story. This record is beautiful, completely engaging and rewarding of repeat listening. The music on this record (and Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son) asks the big questions; if his earlier track "Ohio" describes worldly love and longing, these songs ask universal questions. The music and songwriting are superb; this artist has just made two albums of otherworldly beauty.
