Bitterly Disappointed

Been a loyal fan for 30 years. Don't know what happened. Do not understand the positive reviews. Love my boys. Always will, but this is a preachy, disappointing attempt to echo "the times". What happened to rhythm, harmony, and melody?

Lousy Sum of Nothing

Lousy Sum of Nothing pretty much sums up how I feel about this new Erasure release. I have been a fan since Yaz, and then Erasure in the 80s, and I have all of their albums and singles, but this new album is too full of ballads and never catches me with any of its tunes. Sadly disappointed.

What is going on??

Like most of these reviewers I've been a fan from the beginning. Even the albums I wasn't especially fond of, I could find the hidden gems as I repeatedly listen to them. This album, however, is a total bummer. All the songs except for two are remotely upbeat. I wouldn't even know this was erasure's music if not for Andy singing. Depressing, slow, with a complete lack of anything erasure. If the formula works don't fix it! I need erasure to be erasure. Not whatever this is. They need to stay true to who they are and the music I fell in love with oh so long ago.
