This is an awesome Goth/Symphonic Metal album. Wormwood is probably my favorite song of the album.

Amazing album.

Epic Bombastic Album

Tristania's album "World Of Glass" definitely is a must-have. It's not as good as Beyond The Veil or Widow's Weeds in my opinion, but is still worthy of five stars and deserving of making it on the list of the top gothic metal albums ever made. This album does experience the departure of Morten Veland. The old English style is gone and replaced with a more modern gothic style...but the choirs and epicness are still here. This album is very dark and brooding in more of a doom sense than a gothic sense like in Widow's Weeds or Beyond The Veil. It's very spine chilling and beautiful, as well as hypnotic. The standout tracks are The Shining Path, which is so epic that it blew my socks off, Tender Trip On Earth, which is very beautiful, emotional, and romantic...Deadlocked, which is extremely angelic and graceful, Hatred Grows...which is another extremely epic song that blew me away, World Of Glass, which is creepily hynotic...with the echoing backgrounds of Osten's and Vibeke's voices, and Crushed Dreams, which is so creepy and bombastic that my mouth was hanging open. Definitely buy this album. It will stick with you.

First coming together in 1996, Tristania took the uncommon step of showcasing three separate vocalists of wildly divergent styles to represent their lyrics, these being operatic soprano Vibeke Stene, clean-singing counter-tenor Østen Bergøy, and harsh,...
