Totally love this record. Can't take it out of my player!

The Weepies Masterpiece

I am a fan of Deb and Steves. So I admitt to being fond of their style hands down. They are a strange and lovely mix of joy and melon collie. I never new music could be joyful and sad at the same time until I heard their music. This Album is still my pick for their masterpiece. The songs are so beautiful in their chord structures/ melodies and lyrics. Just haunting.
I sometimes love to drive around in the wee early hour of the morning just to think ... maybe decompress from a particularly rough week. It's almost meditative for me and this is the cd I usually have on. It's magic!

Singer/songwriters Deb Talan and Steve Tannen, both of whom had released solo material before banding together to form folk-pop duo the Weepies, first met at one of Tannen's shows in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
