Bimodal Distribution

As usual Beck's latest release fosters fear and loathing and love and praise. 5 stars or 1 star reviews across the board … I suppose that's to be expected, either you get that he's a genius or you don't. Clearly he's the kind of musician that isn't gonna stay in his lane. And clearly he's into taking risks. Some of these are gonna pay off huge and some are going to sound weird or confusing to some. Yes this is more Hip Hop than the Rock but listen again! He's f'ing with us and pushing at norms and boundaries. Taken as a whole, Beck's catalog is as diverse and comprehensive as it is fun and cool. To be clear I'd give him a another star if he'd lose the Scientology BS.
