Customer Reviews

This band has more potential than anything I've seen in a while. Especially check out 'At The End Of The Day.' It is probably one of the best songs ever written.

Great CD well worth buying!

Firstly... BUY THIS CD. It is well worth the money. All the songs are good, in the lyrics and in the music. There is not a lot out there that is quite like this. I am very attached to many of the songs on this CD. I first saw Army Of Freshmen live, a while back, and have seen them twice more since them. Unlike some bands, they are actually BETTER live, in my opinion. Check them out if they are near you. You won't regret it!! This CD is very nice, and I can listen to it from beginning to end, without skipping tracks, but if you are a very cheap person spend 5 dollars on... Wrinkle In Time Juliet Erase Us At the End of the Day Shackle the Wind (But still-- I reccomend buying the whole album!)

Never Dissappointing

How can 1 album have so many catchy chorus's? I've only been able to listen to the album once since getting it, but these songs get stuck in your head in a good way, not like a crappy 80's song. The songwriting gets more diversified with every album AOF puts out. This album will put these guys on the chart, were they belong! Some reviews try to compare AOF to emo or punk, but there realy isn't a good caterogory for them. The ony way to give a good description is to say put this ablum in if you want something that is upbeat and will make you feel good.

Punk-pop combo Army of Freshmen formed in Ventura, CA, in late 1997 -- vocalist Chris Jay, a recent New Jersey transplant with some 500 completed songs to his credit, assembled the band after meeting guitarist Aaron Goldberg, bassist Kai Dodson, keyboardists Owen Bucey and Dan Clark, and drummer Mike Milligan at local open-mike showcases. A relentless touring schedule earned the band a devout local following, and in mid-2001 Army of Freshmen signed with the indie label Blue Hand to issue their self-titled...
