The BEST Since Heart Dog & Butterfly

I have heard 6 of the songs off the album Red Velved Car and I have to say as a fan since 1974 this is the BEST album they have released since Dog and Butterfly. Forget 80s heart that wasn't them THIS IS!!! RAW, REAL and EMOTIONAL! Ann and Nancy AT THEIR BEST. HEART NEVER LEFT US THEY JUST WENT DEEP INTO THEIR HEARTS TO GIVE US THE BEST OF HEART!! Let's put them back on the top of the Charts and into the R N R HALL OF FAME!!

More Amazing Music

If you love Heart than you won't be let down by this release. It's more hard rockin' Anne and Nancy and they've never sounded better! Highly recommend!

Heart Is Back!!

These two new songs show that the duality of Heart -- the Dog & Butterfly, as it were -- is alive and very well. "WTF" is an aggressive, riff-based number in the vein of "Barracuda," "Back On Black II" and "If Looks Could Kill" with an angry Ann Wilson pondering "the hardest thing you'll ever learn is what bridge to cross and what bridge to burn." "Sand" is a beautiful contemplative song with a meaningful message showcasing the Wilson sisters' lovely harmonies, and Nancy's sterling acoustic guitar work. Win-win.

The three live tracks come from a recent concert at the EMP in Seattle. If you have the opportunity, don't miss Heart live -- they still deliver the goods and are a must-see!

The new album, "Red Velvet Car," is coming out Aug. 31 and promises to be another gem in the Heart catalog. And for those that are interested in backtracking, give 2004's "Jupiter's Darling" a try, their wonderful (and perhaps overlooked) most-recent studio album.

Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are the creative spark behind Heart, a hard rock group who initially found success in the mid-'70s only to reach greater heights after engineering a major comeback a decade later. The daughters of a Marine Corps captain, Ann (born June 19, 1950) and Nancy (born March 16, 1954) grew up in both Southern California and Taiwan before the Wilson family settled in Seattle, Washington. Throughout their formative years, both were interested in folk and pop music; while Ann never...
