Hard Rock Candy

Sweet from the very first lick, Western Ninja's debut album is an exhibition of talent from Orlando's hottest act. Every track is a keeper, with heavy drums and guitar that cuts like a razor over the amplifier bolstering surprisingly complex melodies and deep, dark lyrics. The band taps into the hopes, observations and frustrations of life and love while keeping it dark enough to rock out for hours. X-mas Lights drips with electric rancid grunge and maintains the punch of a live performance even though it was recorded in the studio while Say I Won't has a dangerous and angry energy. See You in Hell is a must buy for any true hard rock enthusiast.

True Rock & Roll!!!

I am so impressed with this band! In a word, Western Ninja is "fun". Their songs are fun to listen to, and even more fun to dance to. With influences ranging from classic rock (The Cars, Led Zeppelin), to early punk (The Ramones), to alternative (The Cure, Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs). Formed in October 2008, Western Ninja has played the circuit around Downtown Orlando, as well as various other venues in the Central Florida area. Western Ninja currently consists of brothers John Gavin (lead vocals) and James Gavin (guitar/vocals), along with Dave Beyer (guitar/vocals), Brian Montes (bass) and Travis Werner (drums). The musicians have played together in other bands throughout the years (Runnin' Blind, Future Minority, Skin Up Pin Up, Desperate Living and Beautiful Rain). Western Ninja will be releasing their first full-length album, entitled "See You In Hell" in early 2011.
