The real gems here are a series of guest-laden album cuts—like “The Next Episode”—that find a veritable who’s who of Los Angeles rap royalty spitting fire over some of Dre’s sparest, fiercest beats. The Chronic 2001 is the equal of its illustrious predecessor in almost every respect; a hip-hop classic from one of the greatest producers to ever approach the boards.

It is about time itunes put this entire album up. I have been waiting for it forever. Dr. Dre at his finest. Can't wait for Detox to drop!!!


I know this whole album word for word. I love it, I bought it when I was a youngin and I still bump it cuz it is timeless, its what the westcoast is all about and its all G´d up. Perfect Album.


If you don’t have this album you are lame. I don’t care if you don’t like rap music this is the sort of album that my punk friends, hipsters, rockers, electro heads and every breathing young soul person should have in their collection. This isn’t rap music this is music at its best.
