Sweet Tracks

This version of the CD is better than the original, because it allows you to fully understand what it took to make it. By listening to the beats, it is evident that they are a form of music in themselves, and I highly recommend it. 2001 is good, but these beats by themselves are even better.

Outside of the hip-hop world, Dr. Dre is relatively unrecognized for his producing talents. The lyrics to this album were above par, but they were just a small complement to Dre's greater creation: music. These beats are strong evidence that hip-hop is more than just samples and rhymes. Pure, unadulterated genius.
