iTunes Review

The Yellow Submarine Songtrack is a 15-song overview of The Beatles at their most fantastic and cinematic. The songs featured here are among the band’s most lucidly realized, containing tracks from Revolver, Rubber Soul and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band as well as deeper cuts from the catalog, such as “Hey Bulldog” and “All Together Now.” This album contains the songs heard in the original 1968 film, many of which were not included on the original soundtrack. Whether you’re just looking to revisit memories of the classic film or just get an overview of the band at their psychedelic peak, this is an unbeatable collection.

Worth repurchasing

As you can see from the description, this is a remastered recording and includes songs not on the original soundtrack recording. The remastering has greatly improved the sound and of course these are classic Beatles tunes. Even if you own them (I have the full box set as well as the red and blue albums and the original YS soundtrack) this purchase is worth every cent because of the superior remastered sound. Highest recommendation…and a no brainer if you don't own some version of these tunes.

It's good

It's good but why is it out of order? I am pretty sure they found the nowhere man before they sang all you need is love

To start with the obvious, they were the greatest and most influential act of the rock era, and introduced more innovations into popular music than any other rock band of the 20th century. Moreover, they were among the few artists of any discipline that were simultaneously...
