iTunes Review

The pop-punk icons close up shop with their 10th and final album. Yellowcard, best known for their 2004 hit single “Ocean Avenue,” sign off with a self-titled LP that perfectly captures their youthful spirit and earnest angst. “Fields & Fences,” a seven-minute song built around wistful harmonies and the band's signature violin, is a fittingly emo farewell.

My favorite band, and what I'm thinking

From my early beginnings back in 2003 when Ocean Avenue came out, all the way to 2016 to their final album ever. I must say I'm very upset that they are breaking up. Tears have been shed. These people have been apart of my childhood, and have gotten me through times that only they could have assisted me through. Im very impressed by this single, and I'm sure the rest of this album will be great. Lift a Sail disappointed me, but I'm glad they are back and going out with a bang. I'm gonna try to see them on tour if possible, because I've never seen them live. It will be a long drive, but will he worth it. This band will go down in history as one of the most influential, and innovative bands of all time. No one will ever be able to integrate violin in pop punk like Sean can. Rest in Piece Yellowcard it's been an amazing run. Hopefully someday you'll be back, but until now farewell! ❤️

Much love for all of Yellowcard, even ones who aren't apart of the band anymore,
Soren, your biggest fan
