iTunes Review

This sequel to 2007's Yes, I'm a Witch remixes and covers selections from Ono's catalog with help from an eclectic mix of indie and electro-pop eccentrics. Highlights abound: Peter Bjorn and John transform "Mrs. Lennon" into a psychedelic freakout; Penguin Prison make "She Gets Down On Her Knees" a hand-clapping disco romp; Portugal. The Man melt "Soul Got Out of the Box" into a woozy dirge; and Moby serves up "Hell In Paradise" as a sizzling synth feast. Ono's wild vision and vocals weave the work into an experimental and playful whole.

Customer Reviews

Haters still gonna hate...

...but Yoko is gonna keep on rocking and sending out love! This is a marvelous record, full of astounding re-interpretations of some of her best material. Most of the reviews dissing this almost certainly haven't bought or listened to it. Go find something else to do and let the rest of us enjoy some fantastic music!

First time

This is my first time hearing Yoko. Despite what the reviews said i'm glad shes still into making music. All the songs are different. And there good. Just give the songs a chance.

Few women in the history of rock & roll have stirred as much controversy as Yoko Ono. Although her romance with John Lennon was hardly the only factor straining the relationships between the individual Beatles, she made a convenient scapegoat for the group's breakup, and was repeatedly raked over the coals in the media for the influence she held over Lennon, both in his life and his music. Ono's own work as an artist and musician didn't mitigate the public's enmity toward her; to the average man...
