A new respect for Mr. Richie

I was surprised by just how good some of these songs turned out. I guess if you have a good melody and singing any song can be country and vice versa. Bravo! Some of these songs sound as good as the originals. Love Lionel smooth voice which is still pure and great. Recently I discovered a new artist on itunes and song called Why Goodbye by Buddy Mix here on itunes and I recommend everyone check it out. It would be nice to see Lionel take these songs on the road maybe in concert. That would be one hell of a ticket I would pay to see!

Never in my life have I heard a better album

(Maybe I Stayed Stuck In the 80's.)I LOVE Lionel Richie . I have All His CD's And Commodores . But I Don't Feel This CD. To me It is Missing The Romantic Touch Or Something!!! I Don't Feel Lionel;s Heart In The songs. The Only One I really Like Is "Lady" with Kenny rogers But Probably it is because Lionel Wrote It For Kenny Roger To sing In the 80's If I am not mistaken." Hello" Is Fine . "Easy" Is One Of My Favorites So I Love It With Willie Nelson. All Night Long Is A Classic. So You Have to like this one.Anyways I Wish You Luck And Lots Of Love Lionel. An Admirer Since The Commodores. KathleenTheCat.(Curacao)

Richie dominated the pop charts during that period with an incredible run of 13 consecutive Top Ten hits, five of them number ones. As his popularity skyrocketed, Richie moved further away from his R&B origins and concentrated more on adult contemporary balladry, which had been one of his strengths even as...
