Album Review

True Love: A Standards Collection presents Patsy Cline's pop side with a variety of classic songs like "I Love You So Much It Hurts," "You Belong to Me," "Bill Bailey, Won't You Please Come Home," and "Always," which was a Top 20 country hit. All of the tracks, recorded between 1961 and 1963, feature Owen Bradley's lush arrangements and have been digitally remastered. Though Cline's best work always had a strong pop element to it anyway, True Love: A Standards Collection is another welcome reminder that her voice still transcends musical genres.

Lovely

One of the most beautiful versions of "I Love You So Much" that I have ever heard. I love Patsy Cline anyway and have had all her greatest hits on cds for years. I have never heard this collection before. Absolutely lovely. "You Made Me Love You" beautiful also.
