i stumbled across this as part of the rhino rerelease section of itunes. man am i glad i found it!!! they rock!!!! ive got thousands and thousands of songs but this cd is right now my favorite and has been for a weeks straight which is a record for me. the way i would describe the music is kinda like if the kinks and the standells got fused with the go-gos. it sooo rocks. download it immediately, i command you. all of the songs are great but especially in and out of my life and the way its gonna be. check those two out and you will be hooked!!!!---bret spangenberg milwaukee

Great Find/Great Snapshot

what a great find to fill in a missing piece of the garage sound of the 80s... have a wide library and range of tunes, but completely missed the pandoras. now i found 'em. you should, too. just found steve pearson, too. unique voice... and fantastic lyrics....from seattle before grunge. these two can go side by side.

Most Under-rated Album and Band from the 80s

I was ecstatic to find this album to finally become available in its entirety, with all these extras! This is easily the most over-looked group from the 80s, probably because they had such a 60s retro sound, but MAN, these girls could rock! "In and Out of My Life in a Day," "I Didn't Cry," "The Way It's Gonna Be" and "That's Your Way Out" were played constantly by my roommate in college. Now everyone gets another chance to experience the power of the Pandoras. Rest in Peace Paula Pierce. I will always treasure your gritty vocals!

Formed: 1982

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '80s

Formed as a garage punk band in Los Angeles during the early '80s, the Pandoras debuted with a 7" EP in 1984 on the Moxie label. That same year, the group recorded It's About Time with producer Greg Shaw, but splintered later in the year. Vocalist/guitarist Paula Pierce recruited three new players, while the old band toured for a short time, using the Pandoras' name as well. Pierce and her new lineup released Stop Pretending in 1986 on Rhino, and then moved up to the majors with an Elektra deal....
